After my last book purchases of Hatchet, Pandemonium, and Partials I promised myself that I would in fact STOP buying books until I have read my pile of 25+ or so UNread books. I also vowed to PACE out my spending on books (ie stop buying 2 or 3 at a time) because, books, well, as loveable as they are… they’re an expensive habit.

Well. Anyway. After work I went to the nearby bookstore to unwind and relax. Today, wouldn’t ya know it, Chapter’s was having a “Buy 3 get the fourth one free” sale. I ended up dishing out $62.94 in exchange for FOUR shiny new books.

At least my addiction is reading and not something more dangerous and expensive, like cocaine or something. But still. That’s 63 bucks that can’t go towards my trip to see my boyfriend.
